DECEMBER  2007

Orchestrating Life's Carnival
mp3 version

I drive the ritual dance
Of endless night revelry
And a parade of tortured
Souls looking for an
Indescribable solace
Not defined by any seekerís
Bible or philosophy.

I am the whip, cracking
Over the heads of the
Dreamless participants
Of nomadic transients ,
Tribal symbols hanging
From bare abused bodies Ė
No two wounds to share.

Iím standing there with a
Small horn in my mouth,
Clarion of a helpless call
To cultural pleasures
And self-undoing, no one
More lost than I, who

Cannot defrost my cool.
